Thank you so much for taking on the issue of rising rent as individuals like myself or son cannot do it. My son is going to school at UNLV and is renting a 1-bedroom apartment. It scares me to know that rent is not regulated and needs to have limits. It will get out of hand if not and renters will lose their places because they can’t afford or have to go to bad areas where rent is cheaper. For those corporations that are taking over many houses to create rentals, they will push people out if they are not regulated on their rental prices. No one wants to see that happen in Las Vegas, and especially the effects on the elderly. If nothing happens to put limits, Las Vegas will be like places in California and New York, where it’s unaffordable for the average person and there will be more homeless people. No one wants that. Thank you for standing up!!!
