As a North Las Vegas resident for 15 years, I support the Neighborhood Stability ballot initiative. I went to school in North Las Vegas and raised my kids there with the dream that one day they can own a home within our community.
I have a 21-year-old and 18-year-old and I wonder if they be able to move out one day and afford a place to rent because rent is spiraling out of control. There is no way they can move forward with their dreams as a young adult. They are being robbed of that and their dreams are being destroyed and something needs to be done. I see a lot of empty houses in my community and it’s not right.
So I urge all the North Las Vegas residents to support the Neighborhood Stability ballot initiative. Add your name today!
